Goodbye USMC
My husband and I have been married for a long time, 10 years. I know that doesn seem like that long to some but we got married right our of college. We have been together since before he was offically in the Military. This life has been hard, and amazing. And now we are done.
I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about this and you can see some more indepth thoughts and experinces over. But here are my big take aways.
- For all of the limits that this life has put on me it has given me even more oppurtunites.
- The Military doesnt care about you, but there are other military families that do
- This time has been as imporant to who I am as much as highschool or college was.
- We will always be a military family, even if my spouse is not in the military anymore.
I have also been writting and not publishing about this for a long time. Now that we are done and I dont need to worry aboutmy personal opinions reflecting poorly or influenceing my spouses career, you can find some more of those
