Hey there, I am Jessica and I am an archaeologist. I am also a mother, a wife, a big sceince fiction nerd, an activist and a crazy environmentalist.
I am here becasue I want to share. I have been working as a hisotrian and archaeologist for the better part of 12 years. I have had crazy obisticales to over come to be able to do it. I know that I am lucky to be able to this but I also want to share with you that its possible.
Why do this?
- Because life is hard and every time I look at someone I wonder how do they do that? How did they get there? My life sounds cool but it is hard and I have worked everyday to get here.
- Because I need to feel like I am contributing and creating something. It is impossible for me to sit still. So here I am.
- For 10 years I have had to keep my feelings to my self becasue of my husbands job, he was activity duty military and no matter what anyone says what your spouse does reflects on you when you are serving.
- I am going to write a lot abotu archaeology, a lot about miliatry, and probably about being a mom. Becuase I am going to write what I know and this is what I know.
